and Henry Gale, the prisoner who turns out to not be henry gale. Henry Gale is the name of one of Dorothy's uncles.
ReplyDeleteNice job. The similarities are uncanny. I think the last picture, with the whitch and her legs sticking out under the house, resembles Locke with his legs trapped under the blast door.
ReplyDeleteNow all we have to do is look for the yellow brick road.
hahahaha
ReplyDeleteyou have too much time on your hands, good finds though
ReplyDeleteum. you can find scenes from any movie at all and match them up to stills from any other movie. wanna bet? you put up $500 and name any movie. i'll do exactly what you did.
ReplyDeleteand i would hardly call locke "cowardly"
"Zeke" is the name of the Lion's Kansas character in The WoO. If anybody is the Lion. it's gotta be Zeke.
ReplyDeleteOkay, Dogville.
ReplyDeleteOK, OK, I teach Wicca. Laugh away. When I teach the importance of the quarters (East, South, West, North) and the way they correspond to so many things (East/Air/Intellect/Travel) (South/Fire/Courage/Physical Health) (West/Water/Emotions/Moods & Dreams) & (North/Earth/Home/
ReplyDeleteFamily/Money) - I use the characters from the Wizard of Oz to illustrate the point. Now, who is East/Air? Think! Intellect? The Scarecrow. South? Why, the Cowardly Lion. West? Emotions? The Tin Man. And North? Well, who wants to go home most of all. Dorothy. You can do the same thing with the Beatles or Hitchcock films. That's why there are a limited amount of tarot cards. It's a small universe. So, rethink your theory with this in mind. Intellect? Emotions? Well, Jack and Locke have a great deal of both - but Locke was in Anger Management. But pure West should be a balance of emotions. I'd say West (the Tin Man) would be Claire. OK, maybe intellect would be Jack (The Scarecrow). Maybe even Sawyer. He even looks like a scarecrow sometimes. Fire isn't just about anger, it's about strength of character, passion, and the ability to keep the candle from blowing out. Isn't the Sun a big ball of fire? And doesn't Sun wear an awful lot of red/orange? That leaves North/Earth. Does anyone really want to get off of this island? Kate seemed to want to at one time. But Michael was the one who did something about it. Anyone want to try designing a "Lost Tarot?"
If not, anyone want to co-write "Brigadoon 2000," the charming story of a quaint Scottish village that wakes once every 100 years. This time they'll be invaded by Scottish Soccer Houligans who trash the town. They'll beat up Gene Kelly too.
BB,
Vilya
Oh, yes! And the yellow brick road is the beach, correct?
ReplyDeletethis guy must be the biggest virgin lol
ReplyDeleteAlright, ya got me hooked....but WHO are Micheal & Walt???

ReplyDeleteLet's not forget the balloon.
ReplyDeletemaybe you should watch LOST and listen to dark side of the moon for more hidden clues , it works man , radical.
ReplyDeletetry syncing up LOST to DArk Side of The Moon, radical man!
ReplyDeletedid anyone notice in episode "3 minutes" that after jack saw michael throwing up and they started talking, in the middle of michaels rant about going to get walt he clearly says "it's gotta be the way i said, Matt, just the five of us." why did he call him Matt, is michael aware that this is just a show?
ReplyDeleteDude, it's 'Man', not 'Matt'. I see your coincidence because Jacks name is Matthew Fox, but it would've been edited.
ReplyDeleteDude I see your point that Jacks name is Matthew Fox but he said Man, not Matt. It would've been edited.
ReplyDeleteNow I can say that you really are insane. There is nothing in this world that does not have at least 1 copy. Even the DNA code repeats itself. According to the proven mathematical theory of big numbers, there are at least 8 people on this planet that have you DNA code up to 99.(9)%. Chances of you meeting one are 0.0001% and there are no chances of you recognising him if you do. This is because you definitely don't have the same age and wore not born in the same society.
ReplyDeletemisfit why are u doing this??
ReplyDeleteHey... this is a comedy blog
ReplyDeleteU HAVE LOST THE PLOT MATE, U NEED TO SEE A DOCTOR, I BELIVE U HAVE OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISORDER
ReplyDeletenice
ReplyDeleteUm a 99.9% match of DNA code is not a perfect copy- there's a lot of DNA code in that remaining .1 %
ReplyDeleteAlso Misfit PWNS!
This connection isn't new, and i believe in one of the Podcast's J.J. Abrams talks about the relationship between "Lost" and "The Wizard of Oz" and how he never thought the audience would get the connection, well apparently The Misfit has blown J.J.'s idea out of the water, it won't be long now until they come clean on this conspiracy.
ReplyDeleteMisfit LOL, good ones! You continually amaze & confound me. Those who worship at the altar of Science would love to get their bony fingers on your legendary brain so maybe you'd better hire a big bodyguard.
ReplyDeleteI love all these Oz connections! I myself went over the rainbow quite a long time ago & don't ever want to return to b & w land. I thank my Higher Power that you live over the rainbow too & that I found your famous blog.
(p.s. I really needed these chuckles today...xox)

ReplyDeletethis site cool so far, take a look.
You suck DICK, misfit!
ReplyDeleteI think Sawyer could be Hanso Solo from Star Wars. This could also mean that Sawyer is Alvor Hanso's identical twin brother, since they both have the same name. If I were you mIsFiT, I would check my face recognition software to see if Hanso Sawyer and Alvor Hanso are, in fact, twins. Maybe a "the many faces of Hanso Sawyer" would be a good idea to show just how exactly the same they really are.
ReplyDeleteid be more impressed if u havent alreddy posted this...
