Eko's ark is nearing completion? It doesn't look like it..if you would throw that piece of church in the water, to protect yourself from some crazy floods, you would drown! Why not use the wood to build another raft, instead of a church..err..ark..?
This is a real pic as my (") who works on the show will attest. The trash container and such are there because they are still prepping the site and was not due for filming until later that week. Then they take out all the stuff that's not supposed to be in the scene. And yes there are pine trees growing all over the islands. They are even in shots such as the show "DAVE".

They are SET photo's not LIVE photo's!!Obviously THEY remove the bins before shooting!!
