DAVE was not an imaginary FIEND!! He was REAL

Something that I have FOUND that must be causing dismay AT abc.com HQ is that DAVE was real. You need to LOOK at these 2 photoes that I myself FOUND!! It proves he was real and THAT the docter (who PROBABLY works for DHARMA)!! was LYING to poor overweight HURLEY!!

You CAN see that these HAVE been altered my computer software!! THE OLD man is not there and IT is daylight OUTSIDE!!

  3. so if I get this right, the creators might have to adjust their plan to keep 'Dave' as an imaginary friend, and make him real due to a mistake. or is this purposely a mistake?
because then you should ask, why would the doctor be so stupid to alter a photo on a background, which shows us very clearly that it is night? would Hurley really be so stupid not to see this mistake?
plus how do you photoshop with a polaroid photo?

    strange...

  5. No one at ABC headquarters gives a flying fuck about you.

  6. Dave on the Island was definitely imaginary.

  7. Nope. The polaroid was taken from a position 20 degrees to the right from where the Lost camera was positioned. The old man is still there, but he's at the window to the LEFT of the one we see. As for the dark...shudders.

  8. You are so clever with all your observations...but if you are in Aberdeen how can you see the latest
    episodes on American TV..it gives
    one reason for thought...Sandra

  10. they are definitely 2 different pictures, Hurley's stomach doesn't touch the table in the picture with no Dave. i don't know if that means anything though.

  11. misfit, you scare me... is your friend Tony real?

  12. My opinion is that the screencap with Dave and Hurley is "the way Hurley remembered it." The photo with no Dave is what actually happened. We only see the polaroid itself when Doc shows it to Hurley, which could explain the dark background due to the flash. You can't compare the two pics above as photgraphs: one is Hurley's flashback, which isn't "the way it really was."

At first, I thought you were on to something, but maybe not. However, I think you have a VERY interesting blog and I will keep visiting.

  13. and in one pic it is celery adn the other some green pie

  14. Libby have seen making the photo by the doctor in hospital..that gave me proof that Dave doesn't exist. Hurley smiles to air.

  15. uh the doctor took a polaroid of Hurley, not digital so the photo couldn't be doctored.

  16. "Nope. The polaroid was taken from a position 20 degrees to the right from where the Lost camera was positioned. The old man is still there, but he's at the window to the LEFT of the one we see. As for the dark...shudders."

the picture was taken not 20 degrees to the right but if anything it was to the left cause look at the difference of hurley's line of sight in both pictures. not only that but on the top photo hurley's tummy is on the table and on the bottom one it isnt. you can also see hurley's head is tilted at different angles in both pictures, and finally the folds on the shirt are different. on the right side of the photo (hurley's left) the camera shot shows the robe hanging straight down. on the polaroid there is a crease on the robe. it also looks like top photo is celery and bottom one shows pie or something.

  18. It is two different pictures. The proof is that in the flashback picture, Hurley is doing a half-smile. In the other picture, he has more of a real smile. His hand in the second photo has more open space then in the first one. It is also in a different room. You know this because the background is completely different. the celery sticks are moved into a different angle in the second picture. There is also less celery. In the second picture, Hurley's wrist is at a higher angle than in the flashback.

  19. Dude , you miss the last scene, where libby sees hurley and the doctor with no dave... this is a proof that dave was imaginary, great theory though, i like your site.

  21. i saw this on a tv show where it talks about stuff, and also LOST and they said the exact thing, you discovered nothing

  22. they had to take the shot at two different times, one with dave, and one with out to make the episode, that's why hurley is not exactly the same in both shots.

^^True!! However they are not careless nor stupid enough to make a mistake of taking one pictue in the darn and another during the day :)

  24. So I was comparing the two photos for a while, and then I realized.. the top picture is NOT a photo at all. It's just the flash back, the 2nd one is the only photo. Sometimes when you take a picture it looks darker than it really is, not the day/night thing. And it's very possible that Hurley changed positions before the photo was taken. And the celery thing/old man thing is because the dr taking the picture was just a different angle. ABC is not that stupid to make something this obvious. A lot of your other observations are still really good though. Very hard to detect some of the stuff that you find. And.. I'm not "dissing" you at all in this comment, just trying to help out!

  25. dont forget that the black cookies (or what it is) is closer to the plate one the first photo!

    ReplyDelete
  26. The top photo is the view from the film camera - it is not supposed to be the view from the polariod - thus the 20 degree discrepancy. As a props person, working in television, I can tell you that no matter how much money a production has, they are not going to stop production to take a picture. These things always get taken before or after the scene. There is no point in continuing to argue this point -Libby saw the doctor take the photo!

  27. THEY ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PICTURES.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Completly different pics. Hurleys hand is in a different posittion, the amount of food on the plate is even different. But, keep posting, I love it. You really are like the National Inquirer of Lost. "Lost Minds Want to Know!"

  29. Guys, one of the pictures is the camera's angle, and the other picture is a polaroid from where the guy taking the picture was standing.

  30. the top is part of the flashback. dave IS imaginary. the second picture is the polaroid the Dr. took to show hurley that dave was imaginary. we see dave in the first one because Hurley thought Dave was real when he was posing for the picture, so we see Dave because Hurley did.

    ReplyDelete
  31. its 2 photos. in 1 Hurley is sitting straight and in the 1 with Dave it it the 2 of them are leaning against each other. Thats what friends do during photos. and also in the 1 with just hurley he looks half asleep. hello! he was drugged!

  42. he isnt real, the fact that ABC got lazy and took the picture after hours, and forgot to put the guy in the background... is just poor prop work... and artistry... stop reading into things like this.
